This looks different than it did in the pictures. I’ve tried to figure it out and I think it’s because the design is actually bigger than it looks in the pictures.I do still like it though.Would’ve liked it a little bigger but it’s beautiful and I definitely enjoy it.The colors are vibrant on the blue marble mouse pad. The edges are stitched and nicely finished: stitches make the edges rougher than the smoother cloth surface.I dropped a star because the actual size of the blue marble mouse pad I received is 31.24" x 11.8" instead of the advertised 31.5" x 12". Worked out better for me, but almost a quarter of an inch each way could be important to someone else.My old mouse pad was a gaming "frictionless" mouse pad. Never felt the pad dragging against the mouse. So far I prefer the slight resistance but have yet to play a game where I would really notice a difference in aiming and holding on a given pixel.The backing on the mouse pad seems to be keeping it from moving around, but not enough to keep the two folds created during shipping from rising up.This pad is firm yet gives when pressed with the tip of a finger. I've got the long edge very slightly overhanging the front edge of my desk: it is doing a good job of keeping the desk from pressing into my forearms.I'm liking this mouse pad so far.The print quality is gratuitous I love the colors and it's very vibrant nothing is muddled together. It's soft and thick but not too think. I don't measure woefully and it hands off the side is my day but not by much and it doesn't bother me. Or isn't super deep front to back though which made my mouse fall off the mat if moved to far in one direction. It's quite comfortable and for everyday use doesn't about me but I do with it was a bit deeper to cover more of the desk surface.Its really cool and I love the design and size is perfect for my needs. I only ding off a star because it came folded twice and its not wanting to lay flat now. Pretty sure it will levels out over time, especially if I put some heavy books on it or something.As a very oversized mouse pad, does its job adequately. Stitching on the edge, no stitching on the edge, don't care. Hasn't flattened out yet even after 24 hours, don't care, I assume it eventually will.Did it give me room to mouse? Yes.Does it remind me every day that I am not in fact in Hawaii? Yes. But at least it gives me something to aim for as I toil in the I.T. mines.Not as thick as others I've had, but that's OK, as long as it flattens out eventually.The material is fine. The black and gold marble literally looks like a camo print in personCute mouse pad. Not as large as I thought it would be but that's fine as I don't have a very large desk.
