This mousepad is great, but it STINKS! The smell quickly overwhelmed my husband's home office. I washed it with a mixture of Dawn detergent, vinegar, and water. The brown water that ran off it was alarming. After that, I soaked it in lemon juice and water and hung it outside to dry since the smell was taking over the house.The size and construction of the mousepad is great, but you need to get past the stink first. Have a plan to address this as it is not suitable for immediate use.
