The problem with leather mouse pads is usually that they slide around on your desk and the more you use them in the middle the more the corners will bend upwards. This particular mousepad is very effectively preempting both problems by sandwiching the top layer of leather onto a bottom layer of nonskid rubber. Apple's optical mouse works very smoothly with this product. I have been using it for a while and I am very satisfied. Concept and craftsmanship are spot-on here.
