Good quality mouse pad that is larger than the standard size.It's simple, plain and functional. It provides the ideal surface for my MX gaming mouse, keeping the mouse from getting it's pads gummed up from dirt and oils on the bare lap table surface. The rubber surface seems to repel (or at least resist accumulation of) that gummy buildup. After several days I haven't had to clean the mouse pads once. Awesome! And, the mouse action is steady and consistent, never having to adjust my push or slide pressure at all.It did come with a "brand new" rubber smell that lasted the first few days, but it eventually faded away. And it wasn't hugely offensive. I am planning to mount it permanently to the lap table; after several hours of constant gaming, the slick surface of the lap table tends to let the pad slide around a bit. But, that's easy to fix. Good, cost efficient product for $8! Oh, btw, I got the black version to ensure my mouse never skipped due to graphical reflective inconsistencies; probably not necessary, but there you are.I like the size perfect for me on a old desk top ...saving my wristSeriously it weighs like 2lbs or something and it’s HUGE on my desk. Constantly have to readjust it. My desk surface is wood veneer FWIW. Might stay in place better on different surfaces, but I can only comment on my experience.
